Their challenge:

Every year, on 14 June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood. In 2017 World Health Organization wanted to focus on blood donation in emergencies, since emergencies increase the demand for blood transfusion.

How we helped:

We designed a multichannel campaign around the first natural human question that arise in emergency situations: What can I do? How can I help? The answer to this question became the slogan of the campaign: Give blood.Give now. Give often. The campaign leveraged the role every single person can play in helping others in emergency situations by simply donating his/her blood, and donating it on a regular base, because every donation can make the difference. The campaign stimulated both authorities and all people to support the health services in their community by increasing blood donation.
